With a passion for life sciences, Schelto Korf has been driving innovation since 2005. Over the years, he has held key roles in sales, business development, and marketing within molecular diagnostics and Contract Research Organizations (CROs).

In 2018, Schelto founded SharpWorks, a consultancy specializing in tailored market analysis and strategic business development for life science industries. His expertise has supported a wide range of projects, including projects in:

• Molecular & in vitro diagnostics
• Genomics & infectious diseases
• Protein expression systems
• Preclinical studies for pharmaceutical & vaccine development
• Disinfectants
• Quality control for batch release

Schelto has successfully guided both product and service innovations, addressing human, veterinary, and agricultural applications.

He holds a Master’s degree in Molecular Science (2005, Wageningen University) and Business Economics (2014, University of Amsterdam), combining scientific expertise with business acumen to help organizations navigate complex markets and drive success.
